About Kevin
Kevin is the owner of an adorable cottage on the Guilford, CT shoreline. He’s also Peggi’s best friend. He lives in Waterbury, CT, works in Rocky Hill, CT and now he is the proud owner of this great cottage in Guilford, CT. Kevin has always wanted to own waterfront property but – until recently – he couldn’t afford it. But an opportunity to purchase this rather affordable cottage presented itself in the summer of 2007 and Kevin managed to finance it.
One reason why the cottage was so affordable was because it is a “fixer-upper.” And that is exactly what Kevin and Peggi are doing… fixing it up. So… it’s Peggi’s impeccable taste in furnishings and knowledge of decorating on a shoe-string and Kevin’s money that will transform this fixer-upper into a shoreline dream cottage. What a team! Peggi can vouch for this… there’s nothing like decorating with other people’s money. And it’s not as if Kevin has an endless stream of money to pour into this cottage. The logical choice for affordable furniture is IKEA – just 20 minutes away in New Haven, CT.
