Our IKEA Cottage

Peggi Tehan – also known as Margaret E. Tehan – is an award-winning web designer living and working in Guilford, CT. When she’s not designing websites for Margaret’s Folly, LLC, her current passion is teaching herself and others how to blog – and how to maximize their online marketing with blogging. When she’s not teaching others how to blog, she’s decorating a small cottage on the Guilford, CT shore.

This blog about decorating with affordable IKEA furniture serves two purposes. While it’s a really fun project to document the transformation of this small cottage on a blog, it also allows Peggi to keep current in all things WordPress so that she can better explain how to blog to her clients.

In addition to designing award winning websites and providing her clients with blogs that work, Peggi is a fine artist. She’s a “late bloomer,” graduating from Southern CT State University in 2002 at 42 with a BS in Fine Art. She is educated in printmaking, photography, drawing, painting, graphic arts, animation, sculpture and jewelry making. Her true passion is printmaking but – alas – she has no time to make prints these days. But she plans to find the time in the near future and will be decorating the walls of the cottage with some of her prints, paintings and photographs.
